Designations Acknowledge Property Management/Accounting Software’s High Standards, Quality Partnership

Commercial real estate technology firm Integrated Business Systems (IBS) today announced that its Imperium Powered by Acumatica product has received the latest Acumatica-Certified Application (ACA) recognition. The Totowa-based company develops and supports property management/accounting software for commercial, multi-family and other specialized markets.

Acumatica is a comprehensive, browser-based Cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution optimized for ease of use, adaptability, mobility, speed and security. The ACA title – specific to the organization’s 2018 R2 Certification – highlights outstanding development partners whose applications have met the highest standards set for Acumatica integration and functionality.

“Customers who want to stay competitive need flexible, responsive technology to execute their long-term business strategies,” said Christian Lindberg, vice president of partner solutions at Acumatica. “Our ACA label is built to help customers find applications capable of delivering that. We’re proud to recognize IBS’s Imperium as an Acumatica-Certified Application. It masterfully utilizes the Acumatica platform to meet customers’ growing business demands.”

To become an ACA, Imperium has demonstrated commitment to quality by passing the Acumatica software test and aligning to future Acumatica roadmap releases.

“Imperium continues to leverage the Acumatica platform, serving as the core of our customers’ real estate ‘tech stack,’” noted Michael Mullin, IBS president. “Embedding Imperium into Acumatica enables seamless implementation, rapid launch, deep functionality and ongoing enhancements. This has been a great differentiator as we continue to grow our business by converting long-time customers to our cloud-based product, and expanding our client base – both directly and through Acumatica’s domestic and international value-added reseller (VAR) network.”

IBS also recently introduced a new Imperium integration with Acumatica Construction Edition, where Construction Edition users can create full building profiles in Imperium – via an embedded link – streamlining the delineation of rentable and operating space to assist pre-leasing efforts.

“We are excited about the partnership with IBS and very pleased that the Imperium solution is Acumatica Certified,” said Ajoy Krishnamoorthy, vice president of Platform Strategy and head of the Construction Division at Acumatica. “IBS’s integration to Acumatica Construction Edition offers a great solution for the handoff process and management of properties for construction and real estate developers.”

IBS president Mullin, who recently returned from Acumatica’s annual summit in Houston, is equally enthusiastic about the future of IBS’s partnership with Acumatica. “We are excited about Acumatica’s focus on developing new features and functionality,” he said. “We are more confident than ever that this company is building the best cloud platform in the ERP space.”

In addition to the ACA designation, Mullin, himself, recently was named an Acumatica MVP, based on his knowledge of the Acumatica solution, development of the Imperium product, and engagement with the Acumatica team. MVPs also are honored for offering advice and insights to their peers without expectation of payment or reward.

“We are honored to receive both recognitions from the Acumatica,” Mullin said. “They testify to the strength of our application, the depth of our integration with the Acumatica platform and our commitment to this partnership.”

Since its launch in 1979, IBS’s legacy property management/accounting software has been used by dozens of New York/New Jersey regional commercial and residential real estate owners and operators. The program offers a full financial management and reporting suite – including deep functionality in the areas of escalations and recoveries – with robust lease abstracting, and utility and tenant service billing features.

Today, IBS products and services reflect several generations of technological advancement. In addition to servicing and growing its Imperium Powered by Acumatica client base, the firm supports the dozens of regional commercial and residential real estate owners and operators using its legacy lease management/accounting software. Additionally, IBS’s Managed IT Services division offers comprehensive consulting, design, installation and support services. The company has emerged as a leader in the areas of business continuity and cybersecurity.
