Michael Mullin, President

Mike’s technology career spans more than two decades, during which he consistently has delivered positive business outcomes for his clients, leveraging technology to improve operating results. Mike joined IBS in 2010 to align sales, marketing and professional services with the company’s strong regional success. His ultimate goal is to evolve IBS into a national player by supporting the firm’s existing customers and working to expand its client base. His deep experience enables him to balance the challenge of growing while continuing to enhance the level of service IBS users have come to expect. Mike’s previous positions focused on property operations, construction and accounting with high-profile industry organizations including Yardi Systems, First Advantage/Saferent and GEAC Computers. He has sat on the board of directors for the National Multi Housing Council and has held membership in the Supplier Council of the National Apartment Association. He attended Western Illinois University with a major in Business Administration.

Dawn Bernstel, Vice President Operations

Dawn Bernstel’s role centers on defining and implementing the customer care strategy for IBS’ support and services teams. She joined the company in 2011, bringing more than two decades of experience in customer service, software, real estate and accounting to her position. Dawn is operationally and customer focused on two attributes that serve as cornerstones of IBS’ success. As the firm grows, Dawn is playing a key role in upholding high customer quality of life and enhancing standardized processes. Dawn studied accounting and business management at Colorado Technical University, and completed a master practitioner certification from the NLP Awareness Center.

With individual emphases on delivery and support, training, business consulting, and networking environments, they bring strong customer focus to their respective positions and to the IBS Senior Advisory Team.
